Constructed with thermally-insulated aluminum profiles, the MB-78EI system features sections with a construction depth of 78 mm. These profiles provide excellent thermal performance, thanks to a low heat transfer coefficient (Uf), achieved in part by incorporating specially designed thermal breaks with a width of 34 mm. The system supports the use of a wide range of fire-resistant glass panels, compatible with infill thicknesses from 6 to 65 mm. Additionally, it offers smoke-proof configurations in multiple production variants.
Testing conducted by the Building Technology Institute in Warsaw confirmed the system’s high acoustic insulation properties, with sound reduction levels reaching up to 40 dB. This makes the MB-78EI an excellent choice not only for fire safety but also for environments requiring noise control.
Since 2011, the MB-78EI system has undergone modernization, resulting in enhanced capabilities, including increased allowable structure dimensions and expanded construction options.
The MB-78EI system is supported by extensive certification and approval documents, ensuring compliance with regulations in both European and Middle Eastern markets.
